Embracing Diversity - Resources

As parents of Afroswiss or Afropean children, we understand the challenges of finding resources that accurately represent our experiences and cultures. This is why we are dedicated to creating a centralised collection of books, games, and toys that we love and that have been carefully selected for their educational value and relevance to our community.

Our collection of books covers a range of topics, including race and culture, whimsy, everyday life, history, and identity. We believe that it is essential for children to see themselves represented in literature, and we prioritize selecting books by Black or Multiracial authors featuring Black or Multiracial characters. We hope that these books will provide children with the opportunity to develop a positive sense of identity and self-worth and serve as a tool for parents to have meaningful conversations with their children about important topics.

Our selection of games and toys is also diverse and educational. We believe that play is a crucial tool for learning and are committed to selecting games and toys that are representative of our community's experiences and cultures.
