Join us as a Meet & Play Co-host for 2024!

Your role as a host will primarily focus on the logistical aspects of the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Afro Swiss Families will cover the costs and manage communication.

As a Meet & Play Host/Co-host, your responsibilities may include:

• Location Scouting: Researching and identifying suitable venues for the event, considering factors like accessibility, space, and amenities.

• Setting Up: Arranging the event space, which includes organizing seating, decorations, and any necessary equipment or materials.

• Welcoming Guests: Greeting attendees as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere, and answering any initial questions.

• Preliminary Event Material Prep: Assisting with the preparation of event materials, such as name tags, handouts, or presentation materials, ensuring they are ready for distribution.

• Event Logistics: Managing the flow of the event, including coordinating the schedule, assisting with any technical needs (e.g., AV equipment), and addressing unexpected issues that may arise.

• Facilitating Activities: Leading or assisting with event activities or workshops, ensuring that attendees have a smooth and enjoyable experience.

• Post-Event Wrap-Up: Helping with event clean-up and ensuring that the venue is left in good condition for the next event.

• Feedback Collection: Gathering feedback from participants to assess the event's success and make improvements for future Meet & Play events.
